GEVORA (february 19,1811)

The plans of the generals
Spanish Plan  French  Plan
(1) To hold the centre whereas the cavalry win the flanks (2) To attack all along the line . (1) To attack the flanks of the ridge (2) To lauch the infantry when the reinforcements arrive to the enemy rearguard

The Spanish cavalry remained immobile whereas the French attacked the flanks, so the Spanish plan was a failure from the start. The late arrival of the French dragoons forced to the outflanking French units to take a more involved role in the battle.

Comments:
The French achieved a DECISIVE VICTORY,  a result  similar to the historical facts. In the real world, the Spanish/Portuguese cavalry fled leaving defenseless to the infantry that was completely routed.
A  FRENCH DECISIVE VICTORY!
