Comments:
Tha Allies almost broke through the French center, but the arrival of the French reinforcements saved the day. The Austrian cavalry was not at its habitual fighting level, losing too many units in hand-to-hand combat.
Following the Lasalle rulebook, Altenburg would be a Draw battle, because no side reached its Moral brek point. However, the Allies lose a grand total of 37 bases wehereas the French only lose 23.
Threfore the results is best described as a FRENCH TACTICAL VICTORY.
