odd units AT vitoria (june 21, 1813)

Vitoria was the last major battle fought on Spanish soil during the Peninsular War (June 21, 1813). In that battlefield there was, in addition to regular units, both sides contained units which were clad in different, and in occasions, more colourful uniforms than the regular ones. According to C. Oman 'A History of the Peninsular War'. Vol VI. GreenHill Books, London, 2004) these units were (italiced units are covered in 'Odd Units at Fuentes de Onoro'):

Allied (mainly British) side:
     Rifles
     Brunswick Oels Jagers
     Chasseurs Britanniques

French side (including Hussars)
     2nd Nassau
     4th Baden (For the rest of Baden units see Baden and Hesse at Leipzig)
     Frankfurt bataillon
     (The above units were in the Neunstein's Brigade, Darmagnac's Division,
     D'Erlon's Armée du Centre)
     Nassau Chasseurs (Avy's Brigade,  D'Erlon's Armée du Centre)
     2nd Hussars (Soult's Division, Gazan's Armée du Midi)
