dennewitz (september 6,1813)
INTRODUCTION
After its rout in Gross-Beeren, the French Army of Berlin, now
commanded by the Marshall Ney, is advancing in a long column composed
from the
corps IV, VII and XII against the weak Prussian IV Corps located at
Dennewitz. The Prussian reinforcements (III Corps) are rapidly
advancing towards the sound of guns..
The order of battle is based on:
Napoleon at Leipzig, George Nafziger, The Emperor Press
HOUSE RULES
Dennewitz is a battle I has played in several occasions with variable
results. In this particular re-figth I used the first edition of Napoleon's Battles edited by
Avalon Hill and the only modification allowed was the inclusion of divisional
batteries without any further modificacion of the Fire mechanisms.
